I, Recycling artist Thomas Dambo, invite you to an exclusive visit to my workshop in Gadstrup near Roskilde.
Come and get a unique insight into the processes behind my work with trash and recycling and discover how my big trolls come to life.
In November, I offer a limited number of guided tours of my 22-hectare country estate, where my studio and workshop are located.
In addition to visiting the workshop, the tour will take visitors around the estate’s winding paths to hidden small buildings, stone circles, and everything in between.
As a very special stop on the tour, visitors will be allowed a sneak peek of my latest exhibition, ‘Trolls: A Field Study,’ which I created together with American Imagine Exhibitions, before the traveling exhibition leaves my workshop and travels out into the world for an indefinite period. The exhibition will be both humorous and magical, with an educational angle.
Adult tickets include one exhibition catalog providing general knowledge about human consumption, waste, and habits as seen from the trolls’ perspective.
