Description
Green George was built with trashed wood from Freetown Christianias garbage disposal and was a gift to Christiania. The mural was done in collaboration with Rasmus Balstrøm.
“The crew and i built the sculpture in the daytime, and in the evening I invited what is in my opinion the best muralist in Denmark, Rasmus Balstroem, to come paint a post-apocalyptic mural. Notice how we made the background pop with cutouts in plywood, ribbon, and rope hanging as vines.” From my book Trash Trolls & Treasure Hunts.
Rasmus Balstrøm also illustrated my book Den Kæmpestore Troldefolkefest / Trail of a 1000 trolls – Trolliefolkyfest.
